ADE & Osborne Clarke Smart Energy Conference | How users can secure our energy future

7/3/2017

Venue: Osborne Clarke, One London Wall, London EC2Y 5EB

The Association for Decentralised Energy’s annual Smart Energy Conference will take place on 7th March from 2pm to 5pm, followed by networking drinks and canapes.

The Government is working to make the energy system more flexible and use smarter approaches. This year’s conference will take place ahead of the joint publication of the new Smart Grid Routemap for the UK by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and Ofgem.

Held at law firm Osborne Clarke, Smart Energy Conference 2017 will focus on the smart solutions needed to deliver our future secure energy system, and the new future flexibility markets being created for customers and aggregators.

Key industry players will share their insights and practical experience on how users can participate in securing our future energy system. The event will help businesses, demand response aggregators and storage providers better understand how new energy solutions can benefit network operators, customers, and generators.

Hear from a unique line up of key market players, parliamentarians, and leading research institutions. Confirmed speakers include:

  • James Heappey MP
  • David Capper, Deputy Director and Head of Electricity Systems, Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy
