The CHPA welcomes the Government’s interest in ensuring that energy efficiency can play a key role in achieving emissions reduction and secure energy supplies in an affordable way. This growing area of focus is encouraging as energy efficiency has often previously been overlooked in favour of supply side solutions for the future energy system. The CHPA has made four key recommendations in response to consultation’s proposals.
