The ADE is proud to support the Euroheat & Power Congress taking place in May 2017

17 Mar 2017

Euroheat & Power and The Association for Decentralised Energy invite you to join the EHP Congress from 14th to the 17th of May in Glasgow!

With political support and visibility of district heating and cooling increasing rapidly at the EU level and in many national markets, there has never been a more exciting time to be in the DHC business.

Providing a platform to discuss major issues of importance for European and global district energy, the Congress will consider a range of technical and commercial issues; from resource assessment and innovative technological design, to market and policy developments.

Network: New & Improved format for networking opportunities

The welcome drinks reception on the 14th May and the dinner on the 15th May are excellent occasions for delegates to strengthen their network of personal and business contacts in a prestigious and historic setting.

With exciting member's site visits:

Vital Energi will open its doors and show how they designed and installed the award-winning community heating system for the 2014 Commonwealth Games’ Athlete’s Village.  Vital Energi have constructed its bespoke low carbon energy system which comprises modern Combined Heat & Power (CHP) technology housed in a purpose built new energy centre building.

This delivers all the heating and hot water for the development through a 28km buried network of pre-insulated pipes which connect the 704 homes in the Athletes Village, as well as the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome.

Attendees will get a presentation on the project, the opportunity to meet Vital Energi’s experts and Glasgow city representatives will explain future plans for the Heat Network’s growth and Glasgow City plans as well as an overview of the Sustainable Glasgow Target of reducing carbon by 30% across the city.
