BEIS Heat Networks research – give your opinion on skills in the sector | ACE-Research

28 February 2020

The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has commissioned IFF Research, in partnership with ACE Research, to carry out research regarding skills requirements for the wider Heat Networks sector. The project explores current capability and capacity within the Heat Networks sector, and considers the skills implications of future growth, helping to inform policy on skills for the sector going forward.

This fast-paced project is now moving into a stakeholder engagement phase. This includes both stakeholder interviews, to be conducted by IFF Research and 3 stakeholder workshops delivered by ACE Research.

Stakeholder Interviews

IFF are looking to carry out interviews with senior level decision makers regarding their opinions on skills and recruitment issues in the sector across a range of organisations, including employers, consultants to the sector, training providers and Local Authorities. If you think you might be able to help, please use the link below to send IFF and ACE Research your details. Interviews would take 45 to 60 minutes, and would take place at a convenient time during March. You can find more information about the research via the link:

Please note that interviews will be targeted and limited in number; we cannot guarantee that all stakeholders who respond to this request will be interviewed.

If you have any questions about the interviews, please contact Julia Rinne or Johanna Lea at IFF Research, via, or by calling 020 7250 3035.
