The Decentralised Energy Awards are the leading and most prestigious Awards for those involved in decentralised energy, recognising and celebrating the people and projects which have developed innovative decentralised energy solutions designed around the needs of the user.
Entries for the 2020 Awards are now open and have been extended to close at 5pm 19 June 2020.
2020 sees a change in the award categories, to better reflect the Association and to enable us to celebrate a wider range of projects and innovations. Whereas the award categories previously focused on end-users – industrial, commercial, communities and domestic, with a separate innovation award – we’re instead focusing on the four key ADE sectors – heat, power, flexibility and efficiency. This will allow us to recognise proven and aspirational projects from across the sector. The award categories are:
- Heat Award - Operational
- Heat Award - Innovation
- Power Award - Operational
- Power Award - Innovation
- Flexibility Award - Operational
- Flexibility Award - Innovation
- Efficiency Award - Operational
- Efficiency Award - Innovation
- Integrated Energy Award - Operational
- Integrated Energy Award - Innovation
- Special Award for Contribution to Net Zero Carbon
How to Enter
Entry is free and you can submit as many entries as you choose to each of the categories.
We’re looking for good news stories to help celebrate and promote our industry’s achievements. We want to hear how your project made a difference, about the journey you took people on and the impact you’ve made. The entry forms are short and have been designed to help you tell your story. The entries must be technically robust, but we’re looking for a human angle too.
More information and entry forms are available here. Please read the rules and guidance documents before starting your nomination, then complete the relevant application form(s).
The deadline for submitting entries on 5pm on 19 June 2020.
