The Association for Decentralised Energy will be holding its inaugural meeting of the new Demand Side Forum next month, bringing together industry leaders in energy management, demand response and demand side energy services.
The Association for Decentralised Energy will be holding theinaugural meeting of the new Demand Side Forum on 9 April 10:00 – 13:00.
This new forum incorporates the former Alliance for Energy Management into the Association.
The Demand Side Forum brings together leading energy management, demand response and demand side energy services companies in the public, commercial and industrial sectors. Policy work will seek is to ensure that demand and supply-side energy services are treated in an integrated and equitable manner in UK energy policy, encouraging a level playing field.
The launch of the new member forum follows on the Association's successful report, Invisible Energy, which showed how demand side investments over the past 30 years have saved consumers £37.2 billion a year.
