Industrial Forum Members Event | CHP Quality Assurance review

1 April 2016

To maintain compliance with the Energy Efficiency Directive, the CHP Quality Assurance (CHPQA) scheme must be revised to ensure they are in line with the revised reference reference efficiencies. Ricardo AEA has kindly offered to meet with members as part of an informal consultation process and ADE members are invited to attend a presentation and discussion from 15.00 to 17.00 on 27 April at the Association's offices.

As you may be aware, the European Commission has now published the revised Reference Values for the separate production of electricity and heat in COMMISSION DELEGATED REGULATION (EU) 2015/2402 of 12 October 2015

To maintain compliance with the Energy Efficiency Directive, the CHP Quality Assurance (CHPQA) scheme must be revised to ensure they are in line with the revised reference reference efficiencies.

Ricardo-AEA is currently reviewing the X and Y values for new CHP schemes in both the CHPQA Standard and Guidance Note 44. Before implementing changes to the CHPQA , DECC has decided to undertake an informal consultation with industry stakeholders.

Ricardo AEA has kindly offered to meet with members as part of that informal consultation process and ADE members are invited to attend a presentation and discussion from 15.00 to 17.00 on 27 April at the Association's offices. This meeting will follow the Industrial Forum, which is being held on the same day from 11.00 to 14.30.

This is a members only event that is most relevant to those with an interest in Industrial CHP. Please contact [email protected] for more information and to indicate if you plan to attend.
