Join us next week at Heat & Decentralised Energy 2018

23 November 2018

The Association for Decentralised Energy and Energy Institute's annual conference is taking place on 29 November 2018 at the Crystal, London.

Join us next week at Heat & Decentralised Energy 2018 | ADE ade-news

Heat and Decentralised Energy 2018 – hosted by the Association for Decentralised Energy and the Energy Institute - will explore how the energy system is reacting to an increasing pace of technological change and a growing pressure to make deep emissions cuts in heat, power and transport.

At this one-day conference, we'll look at how this heavily and complexly regulated sector will continue to transform with technology. How might regulatory inertia block change? How might customer demands trigger the need for a different system? And how can large scale infrastructure investment be supported in an era of rapid change?  We’ll be talking about how to unlock customer pull, discussing how policy and regulation can shape and respond to rapid change, exploring lessons from different infrastructure sectors and getting excited about innovations emerging in decentralised energy.

The conference is built to help you ensure readiness for the changes that are coming, delving into what customers want and expect in this new era and the new models and technologies that are emerging to serve them.

You will have the chance to hear from speakers including:

  • Stefan Hakansson, Global Director for City Energy Solutions, E.ON SE
  • Chris Stark, Chief Executive, Committee on Climate Change
  • Emma Floyd, Head of Heat Networks, BEIS
  • Hannah Collishaw, Director, E.ON Drive UK
  • Jo Butlin, CEO, EnergyBridge and a member of National Grid's Power Responsive Steering Committee and ICAEW's Energy and Resources Group

Heat and Decentralised Energy is the central meeting place for those involved in heat networks, energy efficiency, demand response or combined heat and power. The conference is accompanied by networking opportunities and an exhibition to help you make the most of your day.

Don’t delay, book your tickets today.
