Pure Leapfrog is a not-for-profit that works in the energy and fuel poverty sectors. They help communities to improve their energy outcomes and work with businesses to deliver this. They also support eligible SMEs that are producing positive outcomes, at favourable lending rates, to support their development and growth. Pure Leapfrog are currently working with the ADE to better understand support needed by those operating in the energy efficiency sector.
They are looking to do more to support SMEs working in the energy efficiency and green energy sectors supplying the domestic sector, and need input from those working in this sector.
UK Government recently announced the Green Homes Grant, a £2 billion grant scheme for domestic installations of energy efficiency and clean heating between October 2020 and March 2021. Details can be found here - https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-the-green-homes-grant-scheme
With 600,000 domestic interventions and 100,000 new jobs forecast over the 6 month period, Pure Leapfrog are working with Association for Decentralised Energy to better understand supply chain capacity, its finance needs and how they, as an impact focussed lender, could support the SME sector response to this intervention.
If you are an SME working in the energy efficiency or installation space, please complete this 5 minute survey, which will help Pure Leapfrong to understand SME finance needs and how local supply chains are responding to this funding in particular.
