Our Members

Flexibility Providers, Thermal Storage and Industrial Members

ADE: Demand represents industrial energy users, flexibility providers and thermal storage companies working to decarbonise energy use and build a smarter, more flexible energy system.

Our members include industrial sites seeking to decarbonise, particularly those outside the Government’s CCUS and hydrogen clusters; aggregators, energy technology firms and demand-side response providers; and businesses developing thermal storage for homes and non-domestic buildings.

Our members enable smarter energy consumption, demand shifting and energy storage - helping to balance the grid, reduce bills and cut emissions.

District Heating, Shared Ground Loops and Auxiliary Members

ADE: Heat Networks represents the organisations developing, delivering and supporting shared heating systems across the UK. From district heating networks serving whole communities to shared ground loops, networked heat pumps and ambient loop systems.

Our members span the entire heat network supply chain, including developers, investors, operators, suppliers, manufacturers, contractors, and metering and billing providers. We also represent local authorities, housing associations, consultancies, legal advisers, financiers and standard-setting bodies.

Together, they bring the expertise, investment and technology needed to expand low-carbon heat networks and strengthen best practice across the sector.
